Inspiration

This is some delicious hand painted cashmere wool that I bought from Live 2 Knit.

This gorgeous ball of yarn is destined to become a feather and fan scarf. I've been inspired by Moonstitches' beautiful work. (Isn't it elegant?) I also want to crochet a version of her hexagon granny blanket. I just love the motif, the colours she's chosen...and, because I'm sentimental, the fact that her blanket reminds me of one that was made by my great~grandmother, Gran Baxter.

Oooohh - cashmere! I still haven't splurged on cashmere, but maybe when I finish school and reduce the stash I can go ahead and buy some. Looking forward to seeing it knit up!

Hi amanda!
It's so nice to see you here. =]
This is the most expensive yarn I've ever bought...and the first I've ever ordered on~line. I was so thrilled with the colours when I opened up the package.

Oh, I am melting.
That yarn, oh that yarn...!Live 2 Knit is new to me. I took a look and really could not decide which colourway I would decide on... they are so beautiful and cashmere... perfect for a feather and fan scarf.
Your scarf will be just gorgeous.

Thank you very much for your kind words.
Hope to see the beginnings of the scarf and blanket soon!
Take care!

Oh my! I have a dream of knitting my own socks (I still haven't mastered dpn's yet) one day, and I can already imagine them made from this yarn ;)
