I wouldn't sew down the petals, if I were you. I think you'd lose some of the liveliness and 3D-ness of them if you sewed them down. They don't curl too badly, imo.

Love your Daisy blanket. I would leave the petals. I like the 3D look of them. Great color combination. What is the brand and color name of the variegated yarn that you are using?

The variegated yarn is Cleckheaton Country Print 9 which, sadly, seems to have been discontinued.
Here are the colour codes for all the yarns I used in the blanket. (I misplaced a lot of the labels so I used the yarn tables at the Cleckheaton and Patons sites to work out the codes. I'm pretty sure they're accurate, though.)
